​The Arts Council of Pickens County was founded in September 2012 to provide an organization for the presentation of arts festivals and events in Pickens County, South Carolina.  The council has since expanded its mission to include the support, promotion and advancement of all literary, visual and performing arts in our community.  Future goals include the promotion and presentation of free concerts and programs in our schools, scholarships for worthy students to attend arts classes and camps, fundraising partnerships with nonprofit arts organizations in our community and the growth and expansion of two arts festivals per year.
